Summer is the time of fresh fruits & vegetables, so eat them up to get that Calcium and vitamin C!
With the sun and warmth coming back now, we'll all be soaking up that sunshiney vitamin D. Regularly eating fresh fruits and vegetables with lots of Calcium and vitamin C will help you to properly absorb the vitamin D and help prevent sun damage to your skin. (think salads, grilled veggies, kabobs and green smoothies, folks!)
Ain't it cool how the very thing our bodies need in the summer are available in the summer? (same with winter vegetables that help us withstand the cold!).
